The Chesterfield County Department of Economic Development (CCED) works on a free and confidential basis with domestic and foreign companies planning to establish new facilities, relocate existing facilities, or expand current facilities. The department also assists existing businesses and industries already located in Chesterfield with any business related issues. CCED staff members will assist with site selection requirements, information and research needs, public relations and relocation services, small business issues, or streamlining regulatory processes.

As a publicly-funded entity to promote economic development, the Hanover County Department of Economic Development's primary mission is to provide services to its existing business community and assistance to companies that are considering a location in the County. Numerous programs, information sources and databases have been developed to provide important information to the established business base, the corporate community and the consultants that represent them.
Henrico County is committed to meeting the needs of existing business. The Economic Development Authority offers a variety of services that provides you with valuable information and assistance.
The objective of the program is to present existing Henrico existing businesses with the best services available. In some cases this means working directly with the Economic Development Authority staff. In other situations the Economic Development Authority will serve as a coordinator and facilitator when the needed existing business services are available through other well established assistance centers in greater Richmond.
